The glossy mottled glaze combines deep green, yellow, blue and purple tones, with small dark eyes.Identified as Flora Ann Potteries, South Africa. The folded legs and upright neck create a compact animal silhouette, with long ears drawing attention upwards. Mottled colour varies over the glossy surface rather than forming a fixed painted pattern. A remnant of the old paper label remains on the flank; it is part of the supplied identification record, not a complete surviving inscription.
