The dark brown glaze is decorated with a stylised flower in mottled tan and cream, with curved linear accents around the body.Hamburger’s Pottery, Grahamstown, South Africa. The short narrow neck rises directly from sloping shoulders, making the flower the centre of the design. Mottled tan and cream petals soften the dark ground, while curved accents continue around the body. Compared with the pale floral bud vase, this example offers the same decorative theme in a contrasting palette.
