Based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), South Africa, Collectibles by Deon is a curated online destination for antique and vintage ceramics, glassware, and collectibles. Every piece in the collection has been personally handpicked by me for its beauty, provenance, and character.

My Story

My passion for antiques began long before this store existed. Over the years I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship, history, and stories behind each piece, whether a delicate Royal Doulton figurine, a richly patterned Gouda vase, or a beautifully preserved piece of Carnival Glass.

What started as a personal passion has grown into a carefully curated collection, made available to fellow enthusiasts and collectors across South Africa. Whether you are a seasoned collector or discovering the joy of antiques for the first time, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.

How I Source Each Piece

Every item in the collection is personally sourced, assessed, and described by me. I look for pieces with clear maker identification, honest condition, and genuine collector appeal. Nothing is listed without being examined carefully, and every description reflects what I would want to know as a buyer myself.

I source from estate sales, private collections, and specialist dealers across South Africa. When a piece does not meet the standard, it does not make it into the collection.
