Description
The square flared bowl is a less common form in blue and white decorative porcelain, giving this piece a distinctive silhouette that sets it apart from the usual round alternatives and makes it a more interesting choice for collectors and interior stylists alike.
Finished with cobalt floral scrollwork and shaped rim detail, this square-form porcelain bowl features a matching interior panel design and carries a blue seal-style mark on the underside, adding visual collector interest. The clean cobalt decoration and versatile scale make it a practical display piece for trinkets, blue and white ceramic groupings or accent styling on a console or shelf. The square form works particularly well in contemporary and transitional interiors where the geometric silhouette provides a counterpoint to the organic floral scrollwork, and the interior panel design adds a layer of decorative detail that rewards closer inspection. This example is in visible condition as shown in the images.
