Description
A vintage rectangular ceramic trough vase by Flora-Ann Ware, designed for displaying short-stemmed flowers. It has a gently scalloped rim, rounded ends, a bright yellow interior and a mottled exterior glaze combining yellow, green, blue and mauve tones. Measuring 4 cm (height) × 21 cm (width). It is in good condition, with age-related glaze crazing, base wear and small areas of glaze loss but no visible cracks.
A surviving paper label on the base reads “Flora-Ann Ware”, providing direct evidence of the pottery name. No form number is visible.
The original base label confirms the Flora-Ann Ware name. Its precise factory location, country of manufacture and production date have not been confirmed.
