Description
A vintage ceramic planter by Hamburger Potteries, featuring a rounded bowl-shaped body supported on a broad cylindrical pedestal foot. It is finished throughout in a glossy dark cobalt-blue glaze with subtle tonal variation. Measuring 8.5 cm (height) × 10.5 cm (width). It is in very good condition, with minor age-related surface wear and no chips, cracks or visible damage.
The underside bears the impressed Hamburger Potteries logo and the form number “402”. These marks provide direct evidence of the manufacturer and recorded shape number.
The impressed pottery logo confirms Hamburger Potteries as the maker and identifies the planter as form 402. Its precise place and date of manufacture have not been confirmed.
