Description
A moulded ceramic figurine depicting a seated, shaggy-coated terrier dog. It is finished in a glossy cream and tan glaze, with darker brown detailing on the muzzle, paws and ears and painted black eyes. Measuring 19 cm (height) × 16 cm (width). It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or visible damage.
The underside bears the moulded mark “Joy China” and the model number “4082”. A firing hole in the base is an original feature associated with the manufacture of the hollow ceramic figure.
The moulded base mark confirms the Joy China name and model number 4082. The precise factory location, country of manufacture and production date have not been confirmed.
