Description
A moulded ceramic wall pocket by Joy China, designed to hold flowers or trailing greenery. Its shield-shaped body is decorated with a raised diamond lattice, stylised foliage and scrolling details beneath a glossy green glaze. Measuring 23 cm (height) × 16 cm (width). It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or visible damage.
The reverse is marked “Joy China” and “K059”. Three holes along the flat back are original features provided for securely mounting the wall pocket.
The impressed marking confirms the Joy China name and model number K059. The precise factory location, country of manufacture and production date have not been confirmed.
