The underside bears the impressed LUCIA WARE mark and model number 1562. Lucia Ware is a range from Boksburg East Potteries in Boksburg, South Africa. The two small handles sit close to the shoulders rather than forming large open loops. A thick rounded rim surrounds the opening above the short neck, and the mottled glaze varies across the rounded body.
