This Beswick tableau captures Hunca Munca beside a wicker cradle containing her four babies, with a fifth baby held in her arms.
The printed base mark identifies Beatrix Potter's Hunca Munca and records the F. Warne and Co. Ltd. copyright together with Beswick England. Designed by Arthur Gredington, the design was first issued in 1951 and draws its subject from The Tale of Two Bad Mice. The detailed group belongs within the Beswick collection, the Figurines collection and the Collectibles collection.
