Description
This Beswick Ware serving bowl uses applied flowers and wreath-form handles to give a generous centrepiece a distinctly decorative character.
The cream and green glaze graduates across the large ceramic body, while three small kiln-stilt marks remain on the base from manufacture. A faint Beswick Ware England factory mark confirms the English origin. Age-related crazing, glaze discolouration and light surface wear are present, and the bowl remains in very good condition. It links naturally to the Beswick collection and the wider Ceramics collection.
