Description
This large Beswick Ware bowl combines a raised pedestal foot with sculpted leaf handles and a softly graduated green glaze.
The centrepiece form has a gently undulating rim, moulded leaf-form handles and decorative looping around the inner rim. A faint Beswick factory mark survives beneath the glaze, supporting the attribution to English Beswick Ware. Age-related crazing and glaze discolouration are present, while the bowl remains in very good condition. It links to the Beswick collection and the wider Ceramics collection.
