The scalloped edge adds a shaped outline to this blue and white windmill plate with its floral border.
A windmill landscape fills the centre of the ceramic plate, framed by a scalloped floral border. The reverse reads Delft Blue Handpainted Made in Holland beneath a crown, with a flower symbol below and two holes for hanging. The backstamp states Holland as the origin, but the individual pottery is not identified. Measuring 19 cm wide and 1 cm high, the plate can be placed on a stand or hung as part of a blue and white display. The scalloped silhouette makes the border part of the overall design, while the windmill keeps the centre legible. No exact production date is established by the inscription. It is recorded in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks noted.
