Description

A South African glazed earthenware vase by Drostdy Ware, featuring a rounded baluster body, short flared neck, circular foot and two applied loop handles. It is finished in a deep variegated blue glaze. Measuring 20 cm (height) × 19 cm (width). It is in very good condition, with age-related glaze crazing and no visible chips or cracks.

The underside is impressed “Drostdy” and “61”, directly identifying the pottery name and form number. No individual decorator’s mark is visible.
