Description
The stepped gable and surviving cork distinguish this numbered Rynbende-era KLM miniature house.
House number 2 represents the building at Spuistraat 294 in Amsterdam and measures 8 cm high by 3 cm wide. The base is marked Rynbende Distilleries Holland and Blue Delft Made in Holland, with the KLM mark on the side and remnants of an earlier label. These inscriptions identify the Rynbende and KLM associations and state Holland as the origin, although the ceramic factory is not named. The miniature is empty, as confirmed by the seller, and retains its cork. Its stepped gable gives the small architectural form a clear outline, while the numbered design links it to the KLM house collection. The date is not recorded, so its period remains unconfirmed.
