Description
A small ceramic vase or decorative pot with a rounded body, raised circular foot and ribbed scalloped rim. It is finished in a rich blue-green glaze with subtle tonal variation. Measuring 6 cm (height) × 5.5 cm (width). It is in very good condition, with light age-related surface marks and no visible chips or cracks.
The compact rounded form, moulded rim and strongly coloured glossy glaze resemble small decorative wares associated with Lucia Ware. The underside has an unglazed circular foot but no visible impressed name, factory mark or shape number.
The maker and country of origin are not confirmed. Lucia Ware is a possible stylistic attribution, but the unmarked base and absence of a securely documented matching shape mean that it should not be presented as confirmed.
