Description
This Royal Zuid-Holland PZH Gouda ceramic vase in the Amici decor is hand-painted with yellow and ochre flowers, green foliage, blue accents, and a warm ochre-orange rim. The base is marked Amici, Royal, Zuid-Holland, and Gouda, with a PZH-style factory device, supporting attribution to Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland of Gouda, Holland. The vase has a crackle-glazed ground, rounded shoulder, and narrow circular opening.
The number on the base is treated cautiously as a shape, decor, or internal production mark rather than an exact date. Visible crazing, light age-related staining, and base wear are noted.
