This PZH Plazuid Gouda ceramic cachepot in the Aurora pattern is decorated with bold polychrome floral motifs on a cobalt-blue ground, with cream-yellow flowers, orange centres, turquoise accents, and black rim and foot bands. The base is marked 198, Aurora, Plazuid, Gouda, and Holland, with the PZH-style Lazarus Gate device, supporting attribution to Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland of Gouda, Holland.
The letter K on the base is treated cautiously as a painter, decorator, or workshop mark rather than a confirmed date mark. Visible glaze crazing, age-related rubbing, glaze wear, small losses, base wear, and light staining are noted.
