This Royal Zuid-Holland PZH Gouda ceramic basket dish is hand-painted with yellow and orange flowers, green and brown leaves, small blue flower detail, brown linework, and a pale crackle-glazed interior. The base mark includes Royal, Zuid-Holland, Gouda, and a PZH-style gate device, supporting attribution to Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland of Gouda, Holland. The fitted cane or rattan handle and metal fixing rings are part of the original presentation.
The handwritten numbers on the base are treated as likely shape, decor, painter, or internal production marks rather than exact dates. Visible crazing, staining, surface wear, and rim wear are noted, along with age-related wear to the cane handle.
